T minus 25 hours until lift off
The season opener is just over a day away and I can hardly wait. A great game just got a whole lot better when my wife, Lupita, decided to come along. For those who don't know, Texas A&M has a lot of storied traditions. One of the best is that after our Ags score during a football game, you get to kiss your date - assuming you brought one. Knowing that we're about to (hopefully) play a team where we can score a lot and having my better half there makes the anticipation even better. If she had decided not to come...well, I guess Pat and Bones would have been in for a real long afternoon. Just kidding. Time to strap on the helmet and get to it. Beat the hell outta the 2007 Fightin' Texas Aggie Football Season! Whoop!

Is it really true that this is the first year that Mountain State has had enough players to play 11 man football? I heard that the mothers of the players all pitched in to make sandwiches for the boys for their trip, and the wife of the coach (they only have one coach) had to sew the numbers on the jerseys.
