We've got about 15 hours to go until game #2 and I'm ready to see what changes our team has made. Fresno State will pose a much tougher challenge than the previous week. They are a disciplined team that plays to their strengths well. They are dangerous because they could care less who they're playing - all they want is to win and knock you on your butt. As the saying goes, it's not the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog. This team has a lot of fight in them, but then again, so do our Ags.
Anyone who feels this game should be a cakewalk had better put down whatever it is their smoking (and pass it to me - just kidding). From what I've read, their secondary is more like a tertiary, so hopefully our coaches will allow McGee to throw the ball DOWN the field some. If we can keep their D off-balance with our running and throw well then I like our chances. Here's hoping we try anyone else out at punt returner (Do you hear me Coach Fran?). My main man on the D-Line, Kellen Heard (aka Teddy, aka Holdin' It Down for the Whar-town) will hopefully really get some good knocks in. And I really hope that the 12th man continues the strong showing. Up in section 116, it will be rockin'...
PS - I really hope this title didn't affend anyone in a Michael Vick kind of way (Who let the dogs out). I actually like dogs a lot; I just hope we beat the Bulldogs.
Here's hoping tu's game doesn't come down to an onside kick.
