Oklahoma
The four of us made the trip to OU. Scott and Devin met me in San Marcos and we drove north to Gainesville where we met Josh. After the game we spent the night in Gainesville before returning home. I received a parking ticket because the van extended three-feet inside a no-parking zone. I hope I 'remember' to pay that....
Someone had a little bit of energy after being in the car all day...

We were almost the first people in the stadium.

Missouri
Josh and I met in Gainesville on the Thursday night before the game. On Friday we got up and drove through Oklahoma City and Tulsa before turning north to tour the backroads of Kansas (we've seen way too much of I-35). Our drive was uneventful and we arrived in Kansas City for some BBQ. We spent Friday night in Independence, MO, not too far from Arrowhead stadium.
Game day was clear and cool. We made the hour and a half drive over to Columbia, MO, and arrived just in time to get to the game. After the game we drove through Missouri, passing the Lakes of the Okarks on the way back. In the dark, the area looked a little like Las Vegas of the Backwoods. It helped break up the monotony of a 7-hour drive back to Oklahoma City.
A beautiful day at Faurot Field.

With the bulk of the season complete, there is now a lot of speculation on when a coaching change will take place and who will replace Francione. Still, the t.u. game is just around the corner. We're looking forward to the game next week and we know the other mess will sort itself out fairly quickly.
