2008 Season - Dream of What May Be

Welcome back one and all. It has been exactly 9 months since the last post, but it feels more like 9 years. A lot has happened since we last saw our Ags losing a hard fought game in the Alamo Bowl to Penn State, namely that our new coach arrived, players have improved and the media's expectations of us have remained the same. What hasn't changed is the deep pulse of Aggie Football that beats through my veins as we near the beginning of another season. Even though we have a new coach, new system and many new players, I expect us to be better than average this year. 7-5 or 8-4 is within reach, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We have Ark. State this Saturday. I've been much calmer about the season because for the first time in 3 years, I'm not rooting against our head coach. Sherm will have us ready to roll, and roll we will. With the right breaks and a few plays bouncing our way, this could be a conference title contender. Why not? J-Train and Goodson, McGee, Heard and the rest of the boys will be fired up and ready. Are you?
Drink up the maroon kool aid and dream of what may be....

Ags in a nail-biter, 45-17.

I love all the ags out there. I'm looking forward to the New Mexcio trip. A beautiful location, spending time with family, getting to see the Ags play, and seeing all the fans make the trip in support of our team and our university. Gig em
